PROFILE
I have 3+ years experience working on games as a designer / level designer in the industry. First releasing my own game on steam (PC), followed by releasing a game on mobile whilst working for Amuzo Games Ltd, working as a designer on both projects. I have been constantly learning new skills, further pushing my skills in level design.
I am dedicated, hard working and always willing to learn new skills, whilst working to the best of my ability and aiming to complete work on time. I like to study other games, research other designers and learn how to make the best playable experience for players.

Experience

I have experience using:

Unreal Engine: I developed and released a game on steam called Fused. From pre-design notes to whitebox blockout, level development, implementing class/level blueprints and creating character control, full scripting of events and backend management, 3D model import and placement, creating animations using particles and animation cutscenes.
(I am currently learning Unreal 5.) -
Unity Engine: Level blockout from whitebox to adding art and polishing visuals. Scritping events, adding additional cameras using triggerboxes, setting out puzzles and spawn control scripts. Scripting includes setting up in level meta checkpoints for collecting data.

3DS Max: Making basic models with textures created in Photoshop, creating 3D models to help blockout a level. Full level blockout transferred to engine.

Confluence, Trello, Jira, Bamboo, Bytebrew: Use of management tracking software to help keep track of progress and report any issues.

CeltX, Final Draft: Development of screenplays for film and game, using Premier Pro or Davinci to edit videos, and Artcy:Draft3 to created narrative design for video games.

I worked on a solo project after leaving University and made a game in Unreal 4 called Fused, releasing it on Steam. I only had help with a couple of 3D models, music and voice acting.

Dissertation
My dissertation was based on how could video games and VR help people who suffer from PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) and ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). I received a 2.1 mark for my work which I am proud of as the subject matter was tricky to talk about.
